Install a Font

This tutorial will explain to you how to install the fonts that you download so that you can use them in all of your programs. This works for windows, I'm not sure if it's the same process for Macs, let me know :)

Step 1

Well, the first step is to download your font and know where you downloaded it to. Once you do that you need to go ahead and extract the file.

Step 2

Now that you have the font extracted and ready to be installed you're going to go to your start menu and open the Control Panel.

Once you have the control panel open, click on the folder that is named Fonts.

Step 3

This next part can be done a couple of ways. Now, you should be in the folder that has all of your fonts. You can go get that font you downloaded and drag it into the fonts folder. A box should come up saying that it's installing the font once you place it in the folder. Another way to do it is to File>Install Font... and then go retrieve it from wherever you downloaded it to.

Step 4

After it's done installing you can go open up your programs and use the font. Enjoy!
